This coffee is reminiscent of classic Kenyan coffees from the 2010s. In the cup, you’ll find blackcurrant, citrus and tropical fruit, complemented by subtle floral notes. The natural sweetness balances everything and makes the cup pleasant and accessible.
Muraho Trading Co. produces coffee at six washing stations around Rwanda. The Shyira washing station was founded in the Nyahibu area in 2017, based on the success of an earlier station in the Nyamasheke area.
Shyira is Muraho’s smallest washing station, but at the same time the highest located in all of Rwanda, at about 1,850 meters above sea level. The climate, soil and altitude create excellent conditions for high‑quality coffee production.
