If you're using a ROK grinder the coffee grounds are beautifully fluffy (the best grinders do this) and can overflow. Place the dosing funnel onto the filter basket, fill with fluffy coffee grounds, leave in place and tamp-through (if you have a ROK tamper) the funnel to avoid grind loss. (Place the funnel onto the portafilter before filling it with coffee).

Plastic and cheap feel. Does not sit well on the filter and slips off. Will get one with a magnet that stays in place.
