Gringo Nordic Kenya Kiriga Estate AA 250 g Coffee Beans

Gringo Nordic Kenya Kiriga Estate AA is a Kenyan specialty coffee from Kiriga Estate, where the first coffee bushes were planted as early as 1954. The coffee is grown on nearly 70-year-old SL28 trees that produce a full-bodied and flavourful cup with lively acidity and fruity notes.

The coffee cherries are hand-picked, fermented under water, and gently washed before being sun-dried on raised drying beds. The coffee beans are then hulled and sorted by size and density to ensure consistent and high quality.

Coffee classification in Kenya

• Kenya AA – the largest coffee beans, size 17/18 (over 7.2 mm). Only AA beans are used in this coffee.
• Kenya AB – slightly smaller beans in size 15/16.
• Kenya PB (Peaberry) – peaberries, where only one round bean has developed instead of two flat ones.
