The farmers supplying coffee cherries to Kahindu Factory mainly grow the SL28, SL34, and Ruiru 11 varieties in small coffee gardens, averaging less than one hectare in size. These varieties significantly contribute to the intense flavour profile and expressive aroma that have made Kenyan coffee so appreciated worldwide.
