Bucaramanga in Colombia is a region on the northeastern slopes of the Andes. In the cool climate, the beans ripen slowly, which gives the coffee a character that stands out from the crowd and takes an obvious place around the coffee table. Pairs perfectly with a cardamom bun. The Bucamaranga beans are supplemented with beans from Brazil and Indonesia, which gives the coffee a full character and strong body. Goes hand in hand with milk but also stands firmly on its own two feet. The acidity in the aftertaste is important for the overall impression and one of the reasons why this coffee is perfect with an avec.
Taste: A round and pleasant cup with a taste of hazelnut, citrus, balanced acidity and sweetness.

Having previously fallen in love with Bergstrands Perombia EKO, I boldly ordered more coffees from this roastery to try - one of them being Bön Apétit. The product page certainly mentioned that this coffee is suitable for enjoying with milk, but I didn't realize that this coffee is practically intended (or tastes best) with milk/cream.
This is a strange middle-of-the-road coffee without its own personality. In a way, it's close to Crema's Indonesian Java, which I also find very impersonal, a middle-of-the-road bean that doesn't offend anyone. The flavor profile, even without milk, hints at milky coffee. To my taste, it's really light, too soft, and too neutral. Grinding it at different coarseness levels mainly brings out degrees of richness, but not really different flavors.
However, as a milk coffee, I don't believe you can actually find a better bean to grind, so if you like milk coffee, at least with this coffee you won't have to think twice about whether to buy it or not.
