Arcaffè’s story begins in Livorno, where coffee first arrived in Europe in the 17th century. In 1895, brothers Antonio and Luigi Meschini opened a small shop selling spices, liqueurs, and fine coffees — the start of a lasting tradition.

By 1926, Arcaffè was roasting blends for the city’s cafés, including the famous Bar Roma blend, whose recipe remains unchanged to this day. In the 1980s, Enrico Meschini expanded the brand internationally, carrying forward the family’s passion for excellence. Today, under Prunella Meschini, the fifth generation, Arcaffè continues to blend tradition with innovation, always seeking out the world’s best coffees and sharing the spirit of Italy with the world. Arcaffè blends bring together the finest estate coffees in the world, roasted separately and blended to offer consumers unique taste experiences.
